Coffee House Salvation

I bet you came here hoping to find something about help groups for caffene addiction, achieving eternal nirvana through the use of a choclaty beverages, a guy who got 'saved' through a coffee house, or something to that degree. The truth is that Coffee House Salvation is all about God, Jesus, (Hay-sues), Father, Spirit, the Trinity. I'm referring to one being, one awesome God that moves nations. He has many names, but if you know of the sacrifice He made for the penalty of sin to be lifted, and believe that your life can be changed by letting Him come into your heart and being your guide, it doesn't matter what name(save evil names) you know Him by, He is the one and only God in this universe/reality as in any universe/reality.
What Coffee House Salvation is about in specific is the celebration of God's love for everyone, in as many different cultural ways and other uniquenesses as possible. God has made us all unique in some way or another. I believe it possible that: the theory about people's twin completely opposite in many ways, from another family, being born the same time on the other side of the world, to be entirely possible. I proffess to the end though that even my evil twin could still come to know God and worship Him.
I'm sure that most people who have heard of Christianity by mouth, have also heard it from radio, television, or the internet; we're bombarded with it(and here's another dose, so congradulations). You've also come to a conclusion, by some means or another, that either it all rocks or it all bites because people loose their culture over christianity, as there's supposedly only one way your allowed to worship this God of Christianity.
I differ with anyone from church or otherwise that says it all has to be done one way. The reason why we're born unique and not pulled off a conveyer belt from some generic factory mold is that God wants our uniquenesses. God wants all our angst, faults, habbits, and personallities to become part of the great body of Christ. He wants the flowerchild, the goth, the punkrocker, the intlectual, the sickly, the built, and the shy! He wants us to be the best body of Christ that we can be! You can not have a complete body believers by getting rid of all the angst or other, just like you can not have a complete living body by shoving all the organs of the body in the hand. IT DOES NOT WORK!
On the other hand, trying too hard to keep from being related with anyone never worked for anybody, because we have the same rules to live by.
So here's the application: because we all have different ways to worship, we must find out what it is about our personality that makes us so unique and praise God in that way. The goth keeps the flowerchild real, the athlete keeps the intellectual from becoming too stuffy, the shy person shows by life example to keep things simple, and the list goes on. I could go on and on about how people are often so blinded by the unique flares that they don't bother to think about wether or not being acquainted with that person would complete their own life. It's curious how many times we could have benefitted from someone who's life resembeled the very thing that we were getting into, they could have given good reproof.
I myself am plagued by bouts of angst, an obsession with cartoons, japanese culture, furry fandom, and an indicisive liking for music. I fail with fighting immorality, procrastination, complaicance, lieing(via forgettfulness), and I process things slowly. This blog will have posts of worship in dark poetry, light poetry, and whatever comes to mind. You can refuse me, loose me, abuse me, but I love God and I can't stop what I am so I'm going to keep going. It's all about unity, just remember that the next time that you look at a gothic person and wonder if they could wear white for once in the church. It shouldn't bother you that their love of God radiates brightly through their dark clothing. Personally, I love people like that. I wish there were more people who were face about who they were and worshiped God because of it.
Praise Be To God, the Lord on high who tamed my wild instincts!
Love you God! Your son, and to the audience: your possible friend.
